POLICY Rule change 2025-06-16 2025-06-16 @Cursor

$ Cursor changed its usage limit rules on June 16, 2025.

Cursor overhauls its pricing: Pro's "500 fast requests a month" is gone, replaced by a usage pool tied to actual API cost. Pro gets $20 of credit — at Claude Opus prices back then, roughly 225 requests. The change drew a lot of user anger.
