POLICY Rule change 2026-06-01 2026-06-01 @cursor_ai

$ Cursor changed its usage limit rules on June 1, 2026.

Cursor raises usage for every Teams user and introduces a Premium team seat — 5x the usage at 3x the price, modelled on the Ultra plan. At the same time, usage on the standard Teams seat splits into two pools: in-house models (Composer / Auto) and third-party APIs (Claude, GPT, Gemini and so on). It takes effect immediately for new customers and from 1 July for renewals. Cursor estimates costs will drop for nine out of ten teams.
