01 When does the Kimi Code allowance refresh?
Every 7 days from your subscription date. It is neither a calendar week nor the first of the month, so everyone's refresh time differs — you can see yours in the Kimi Code console.
02 Does unused allowance roll over?
No. Anything left unused is zeroed at the refresh.
03 Why am I rate limited with plenty of weekly allowance left?
Because on top of the 7-day allowance there is a rolling 5-hour frequency window. Too many requests in a short span trips rate limiting regardless of how much allowance remains; it recovers as the window rolls.
04 Does each device get its own allowance?
No — all signed-in devices and API keys share one pool. Devices idle for more than 30 days are unbound automatically and restored by signing in again.
05 How do I check what I have left?
Type /usage on the command line for the quickest answer; you can also check the Kimi Code console for remaining allowance and rate-limit status, or "My allowance" on the Kimi subscription page.
