Your 7-day allowance is exhausted. Unlike the 5-hour session, this one does not roll from your first message — Anthropic assigns every account a fixed weekly reset time, and the message tells you when it is.
Max has a general weekly limit plus a Fable weekly cap. Fable uses the same overall allowance, with at most 50% available for Fable; it is not an extra pool. Claude and Claude Code share these limits.
// WHEN IT RESETS
At the day and time in the message, which matches Settings → Usage on the web. It is the same time every week for your account, whether or not you used Claude Code that week.
A fleet-wide reset from Anthropic clears it early. They are announced on @ClaudeDevs and logged below — but they are rare compared with Codex, so do not plan on one.

- 01 Check /usage. If only the Fable weekly cap is reached, another model can use any remaining overall allowance. Switching models does not bypass an exhausted general weekly or 5-hour limit; wait for reset or use usage credits.
- 02 Usage credits let you continue past the cap at pay-as-you-go rates — the only way to get more this week without upgrading.
- 03 Pro costs $20/month, Max 5x $100/month and Max 20x $200/month. Max provides approximately 5× or 20× Pro usage. All retain a 5-hour and general weekly limit; Max also caps Fable within that weekly allowance.
- 04 Note the date: the 14 September 2026 change ended a 50% promotion and set weekly limits at 25% above the pre-July baseline, so the bar is smaller than it was over the summer.

This is the weekly allowance. Nothing you do in the 5-hour session refills it; it comes back only at your fixed weekly time, with a fleet-wide reset from Anthropic, or with usage credits.
