POLICY Rule change 2026-06-01 2026-06-01 @xAI

$ Grok changed its usage limit rules on June 1, 2026.

xAI drops the per-message daily cap in favour of a single compute-based weekly pool shared across Chat, Imagine, Voice, Build and the API. The old 2-hour prompt cap goes away at the same time. From this change on, xAI no longer publishes concrete numbers for any tier — Settings → Usage shows only a percentage.
