$ Claude Code changed its usage limit rules on May 6, 2026.

Claude Code's 5-hour limits are permanently doubled for Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise, and the peak-hour throttling that previously applied to Pro and Max is removed. The weekly allowance itself is unchanged.
